Born & bred in Southland, Jeremy Bekhuis has a real passion for agriculture and helping his clients meet their goals. Jeremy joins Agrifocus after 6 years in rural banking. Most recently being the senior rural manager for a large trading bank. He is a chartered accountant by trade specialising in rural accounting and commercial property.
He strongly shares Brett’s view that accounting is more than just preparing financial accounts, but more importantly planning for the future rather than focusing on the past. His experience as a banker allows him to support clients with succession & growth aspirations as well as providing proposals to key stakeholders. Jeremy and his wife Lena have three young boys, whom he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with. Currently he is unsuccessfully trying to retire from rugby.
